The ATS GT Supercar was unveiled at the Salon Prive August 31. This car cost about 1.15 million dollars and produces 690hp this car is priced like a Mclaren p1 or Ferrari Laferrari for a Italian supercar you have never heard of before.
This car will be new to the supercar segment with many heavy hitters. This car is powered by a 3.8-liter biturbo V8 good for 690 horsepower in its current state. The company is aiming for a final performance figure of 800hp when the development finishes next month.
Just 12 examples of this Italian supercar will be built, the car should be cable of sprinting from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.0 seconds with the assistance of launch control also a top speed of 205 mph. The company refused to give out a torque figure. The GT will be paired to a dual-clutch gearbox and it will weigh in at 2866 pounds(1,300 kilograms) stated by the company.
This supercar draws it’s inspiration from the original ATS 2500 GT that made its world debut in 1963. The GT comes with 20 inch rims at the front and 21-inch rims at the rear with carbon ceramic brakes. It also features an air brake for added stopping power similar to a P1. As mentioned the GT will be limited to 12 examples. The company mentioned a more powerful R model could be produced later on. No specifics were given on the upcoming performance model.
